Ivana

A trip to Montenrgro today. Beautiful mountains and a drive around the incredible "Fjord" that leads to Kotor, a beautiful walled city - quite different from Dubrovnik but every bit as charming.
After Kotor, we continued on to Budva - another walled city and the centre of Montenegro's Riviera. There is a lot of money being invested in Budva and the surrounding area. Most of it seems to be Russian as nearly all the notices were translated into Cyrillic script.

Ivana was our Kotor guide. A very warm and genial person with a sharp sense of humour. We had no problem keeping track of her as she was around 6ft 3inches tall. She towered above most of our group. She explained that Montenegrans are the second tallest nation after the Dutch and the evidence was everywhere to be seen, tall men and women all over the place. Impressive!
