Tunnel vision

A nostalgic picture... this is the pedestrian tunnel under the river Schelde. The last 2 years I have used it to get across the river to go to Antwerpen Linkeroever (left bank) to my photography course.

However, this year I am doing a post-doc course at Antwerp University to become a physics/sciences teacher in secondary schools. So as I didn't have to be at my university course until 6pm, I decided to go back to the tunnel.

At peak times it is really quite a busy sight, but mid-morning it just seems a desolate place (which I kinda like).
