How does he do it!!
Spent 3 days in Barcelona. Lovely 4* hotel, only downside the cost of breakfast, which was 16 euros each, we didn't find out until we paid the bill 97.40 euros for continental breakfast for 3 days- ouch.
We used the 'hop on. hop off' bus. Did the Ramblas, which is a 'must' we found the market, by accident, and spent ages looking at all the lovely fruit displays and fresh juices, tried a lime and mint juice, very sharp.
I've still not figured out how the guy is suspended, you could actually put your hand underneath him and there was nothing holding him up!! Any ideas!!
We did the Familia again, our main purpose for the trip as this time we went inside, the inside will be ready for use by the end of this year. It's very different from the outside of the building, very simplistic with lovely columns. I defy anyone not to be overawed by this building.
We took the lift upto the top of the Nativity Facade, the only way down was by a very tight spiral staircase, with no artificial light only natural day light through little windows and it was 426 steps down, quite scary.
