I, Spatial Relations Expert, am a stripper.
I strip finish from furniture that is.
I have worked for about 11 years with a man who apprenticed and worked at historic Williamsburg. He has taught me much of what he knows, though not nearly all. I do quite a bit more than just the stripping. I am involved with all aspects of the fine antique restoration. One of the best parts of working with really fine furniture is seeing the before and after.
This one is fairly dramatic. you could not even see the grain in this wood, and now it sings.
Once a finish is put back on this it will be 'just like old' again.
