The Gairloch

At last! A bit of clear sky.

One of my piano pupils wasn't able to come to his lesson after school; so - a sudden half hour free.
I was aware that it had stopped raining, but was really pleased to see a clear, or at least clearer sky.

I dashed out of school and drove along the seafront in the village to take a few shots like this. Half an hour later, on the way home, the moon had appeared - a large, fingernail moon, shining on the water in the bay. No way could I get a shot. I have ordered a tripod, and hope that this will help to try and get some of these illusive night shots.

Meanwhile, I am now home and enjoying a wee glass of sherry. Unfortunately, it feels like Friday already.
