Can you guess the season?

Took this photo this afternoon when crossing through one of the meadows into the woods. It suddenly occurred to me that with the leaves all turning yellow and falling off trees, everything else should be dying off too. Instead this meadow seems to have been caught in the throes of summer! Still plenty of bloomage left in those colourful weeds!

After the bad news yesterday that we need to rehome our four dogs I can report that the two youngsters have been offered new sofas. Penny will return to the fostering family we got her from. I suspect they will be adopting her permanently as they were rather sad to let her go in the first place.
Cassie will be rehomed locally, so I will have the opportunity to catch up with her, after she has settled in.
We are still sorting out a new sofa for the two old boys.

Need less to say there was no training today.
I have also not resorted to comfort eating but remained failry stable but with little appetite.

My nephew returned Sally today... watch this space for more on that ;0)
