Rainbow

I'm sure there will be better pictures of this rather stunning double rainbow that graced the Edinburgh sky this evening but I didn't have a proper camera with me and had to rely on the phone. Still it is an outdoor picture, the first in a while I believe.

Spent the morning setting up a nested VM to run IE6 testing, after all teh downloading and installing last night there was still some work to do to make the server in one talk to the browser in the other. In the afternoon I was up at Dundee to attend the training course that the people who use our software in the NHS recieve. Helps a lot from a UI point of view to know what the application actually means to the user and to see how they use it first hand.

In the evening I went out on the town with my cousin John, drank some very nice beer in Bert's Bar down the West End, Howell At The Moon it was called. A dark and chocolatey beer which I can't find a reference on t'internet to due to it sharing a name with a vineyard down under. We then went to Whighams and had some Oktoberbest which was nice enough but not brilliant I didn't think, before ending up a the casino and bumping in to Nick and his mates. I didn't do very well I have to say but a kind gentleman next to me did explain alot about the rules that I didn't know.
