Bright lights of Bristol

Arrived in Bristol in the early evening; straight to our mini-apartment - a new idea in where to stay and it seems to make sense - you have a room/s but no other facilities that a hotel offers and are totally independent. We were staying right in the centre very close to Joe and Ash. They showed us their flat - the middle of an old higgledy-piggledly building. We wandered down to the docks and ate in a Spanish restaurant on the quay. After the dark of West Cork the night skyline was psychedelic. There appeared to be disco going on below our bedroom until 3am and it was hot. Not much sleep.
