Alnwick Rose

Although it has been a dull day, I managed to take quite a few good shots that I can include in my Port Sunlight calendars this year. This is one of the David Austen roses planted in long beds in an area of the village called The Diamond. There were still tourists around with their maps, a man exercising two huge dogs, an artist sketching the gallery and some children playing round the fountain - quite busy for a Sunday afternoon!
