Round the back #1

Indisputably autumnal today, breezy, dull and constant threats of rain. It was a very busy day and when I got home it was already quite dark, so I decided to stay close to home and show you the backs of the houses rather than the fronts for a change. Each block of cottages in Port Sunlight was designed by an architect and no two blocks are identical. All the houses are Grade 2 listed buildings, and controls over paint colours, window styles etc. are very strict, especially on the fronts. However, round the back of each block you can see more variation and all the accoutrements of modern life - television aerials, satellite dishes, ventilation outlets, parking spaces, bins, garages, greenhouses and conservatories.
