Repose

I took this image in my parents' backyard. This statue was cast by my grandmother many years ago. She was a wonderful watercolor painter, gardener and a woman who carried deeply for her family. Her grandchildren were often subjects in themselves if not inspiration for other images. I love this little statue and often wonder which of us was the model for this.
