Day 5 - Manchester

We left our hotel very early this morning and boarded the 6:17 train to Manchester. Sean is a HUGE Manchester United fan and a trip to Old Trafford wasn't on our "to-do-list"... it was on the "MUST-DO-list"!

Tom, a good friend of ours, is visiting his brother in Glasgow, so the two of them decided to drive to Manchester to see us... a crazy, much appreciated gesture! The four of us met up at Old Trafford and did the "Museum and Stadium Tour". I've done similar tours of the Real Madrid and Barcelona stadiums, but this was much better value for money.

We took loads of picture and went for lunch at a local pub, before going our seperate ways again. What a fantastic day!! Pity our timing wasn't good enough to watch a game... maybe next time:)
