Sometimes all you need is a little love and affect

Today started badly with a few kids being 'problematical' at school, by morning break I was questioning why I do the job and worse still doubting my ability to do it.

However after a few tears, tea, chocolate and some sound advice and support from my colleagues I was back on track.

My RE class enjoyed their lesson so much they cheered (yes cheered! In RE!!!), my form class won the inter-form skipping competition and came in chuffed to bits and so proud of themselves. It was lovely to see.

Drove home and the sky was a beautiful clear blue with streaks of pink and gold cloud, would have made a lovely photo but I had no time to stop.

Came home to news of the French strikes and riots - guess where I'm going on Saturday?

After that I managed to set the oven too high and burned my tea, so I was sat waiting for my Pop pop ping meal feeling sorry for myself, when the cat came to give me a foot rub and some love...

Life isn't that bad really is it?
