<backblipped>
We thought it was finally time to get H out of our bed and into his cot in his own room, and so Sunday night was officially the first night of Mission Cot Sleeping. We got him into the cot (asleep) with no problem and he slept through until gone 4.30am - but after that it was constant crying and absolute refusal to settle in the cot; after 3 nearly hours of no progress we got up, all three of us exhausted, sleep deprived and emotionally fragile.
I'd all but decided not to blip today, as all spare time was spent on parenting websites and wondering if we could afford to hire a sleep nanny(!), but in the end couldn't help myself - although it ended up a rather uninspired dash around the house before bed. I can't believe how addictive this blipping lark has become: to begin with I didn't think I'd make a full week, yet now I can't bear to have a blank day!
