Balboa Goes Home

Balboa, our traveling lobster, has been to various cities, states, and countries in his brief three year life. We originally purchased him at a seafood restaurant outside Old Town San Diego in order to embarrass our then 16-year old daughter. We asked random people we encountered to hold Balboa while we took their photograph. The constant Balboa photos started by making our daughter crazy, but now we take Balboa photos to entertain her.

Imagine our surprise when we stopped for a bite to eat at a local restaurant and found that the restaurant we were in was related to the place where we purchased Balboa during that 2008 Spring Vacation trip. Check out the likeness of Balboa on the take home bag, proof he had returned home.
