"to notice"

Les Couches

"Layers" as in layers of nappies (diapers) according to my Berlitz French Compact Dictionary, and not to be confused with couché because with the accent on the é the same spelling becomes "to lay down". I was drawn to the layers of rusted grid and the window and the reflections. Layers in dressing can transform otherwise humdrum pieces and looks. Layers in paintings and drawings add mystery, at least I think they do.

I am actually expanding my meager French vocabulary with these titles! I had not gotten a photo yet today and was in a shopping center - found this blip opportunity at a garden shop. I keep learning there are interesting subjects everywhere!
