Touffu

This is the time of year when photographers are drawn to the fall colors of leaves. These wet ones in a roadside curving curb capture color, distance, shape and another stage in their journey towards becoming compost.

The word "touffu" means dense or thick and it seems like a word I might remember. There is also "feuillu" for leafy, or les feuilles for leaves. I chose "touffu" for the title because I like the sound and the leaves are dense or thick in the curb.
