Meet Bobby

Or Greyfriars Bobby. For non-scots the story is that he was so sad on the death of his owner that he sat at his grave in the Greyfriars graveyard for the rest of his life, and the city of Edinburgh decided to erect a statue.

There was a film (apparently a bad one) made of the story at Stirling castle last year which severely interfered with a friends ability to continue his ongoing Archaelogical survey there.

Anyway, not much to report today other than the fact I am feeling a lot better, I went into town for a couple of meetings and, while there, did some more panic Christmas shopping.
