I'm in love with a 50mm

Went for dinner tonight for a friend's birthday at a great private kitchen in an italian chef's loft apartment. Turns out that he is also a photographer and the friend of the guy who I signed up for a photo course with in December! HK is such a small world. His apartment was a haven for photographs and the light reflecting off his red kitchen wall cast an interesting glow on all of the photos. I'm madly in love with my 50mm. I think tonight's photos are the best I've ever gotten from a gathering. I had a hard time choosing but ended up going with the less obvious of the images... Though I do love the 2 (very different from each other) portraits:
