Mary Dans Le Jardin

Mary's in the garden - I found a concrete Mary at an end of season clearance in a favorite garden store. I miss all the icons that were placed about in France, serving as much as markers as anything else. My daughter when she was young had a Mary statue and was heartbroken when she dropped her and had a broken Mary. I went to parochial schools grades k-8 and have many Mary stories - one day I should write them down.

Last night I saw a dance piece named "Faith" by Pat Graney; she said it came out of her bank of memories of a Catholic girlhood. It is a rich field to mine for sure!
