Not the monday shot

This is not a goat's beard photo so I'm violating my time series, but it's either something from Crete or nothing at all and my vote goes to a travel pic. My apologies :-)

This is the Samaria gorge. Or actually this is taken from the Omalos high plateau leading to the entrance but the clouds are coming from the gorge, marking the spot. It was an awesome sight, seeing them flow from over the mountain tops and inbetween the mountain walls.
We did not hike down the gorge trail, it would have taken us 18 kms down below to the sea level and then we still would have needed to climb back up to get our car... so we just marveled the views from the top.
