Hush little baby
First day of half term has been lovely.
In the morning we went to the children's centre to have a go at their new music class. It was cancelled.
Well, we were all dressed up with nowhere to go... so off we trotted to the local cafe for a nice cup of tea. Elizabeth examined all of the other customers very carefully. Only some of them paid her any attention! They get big smiles as a reward.
We went home for lunch. Elizabeth had a banana sandwich. And in the afternoon we took advantage of the sunshine and walked into the town to pop into the breastfeeding cafe. We had only intended to stay for about 20 minutes. I assumed that it would be full of new mums that I didn't know. However, I knew all of the mums, so we stayed for the whole 2 hours.
Elizabeth was crawling all over the place. She was looking for anything to pull herself up to standing. What a show off! She's better at that than the Emma, the other baby close to her age. But Emma can wave and clap... Elizabeth can't.
On the way home Elizabeth had a long snooze (see photo).
For tea tonight she had 3 baby sweetcorns (another first), some chicken casserole and a mix of fruit slices for pudding.
Fab day.
