Portrait Restaurant

In London for an opera break (Covent Garden this evening for "Romeo and Juliet") we were confronted with rain.

We went for a fabulous lunch at the Portrait Restaurant in the National Portrait Gallery (and I can recommend the honeycomb icecream with chocolate tart)

My menu featured Sir Lawrence Olivier........ and I had forgotten that he started his career at the Birmingham Rep
