beach shell home

What a great day for the beach, sunny, warm, good breeze, lots of shells, a hugh tree trunk washed up on the beach. Saw a cactus which I've googled and it is a Prickly Pear. I read that they are used for many things and can be eaten, made into alcoholic drink and used as a Psychoactive drug. I might have to visit them again :)
But anyway, this beautiful shell turned out to be the home of a hermit crab. I did not see him until I uploaded my pictures.

I watch him scurry on the sand
To find a house that's secondhand.
He crawls in someone else's shell
And stays because it fits him well.
