hello deer

Deer grazing peacefully. They look at me from the long distance between us. But they are only curious as long as I move no closer. I shoot them but just with my camera. I hear gun shots in the distance and wonder how awful it would be to be hunted. I move on, it could be me next.


I ask people why they have deer heads on their walls. They always say because it's such a beautiful animal. There you go. I think my mother is attractive, but I have photographs of her.
