Cattleya Orchid

Had a lazy day today. Eyes aching and itching after yesterday's op and purple bruises underneath them, so apart from going and checking the ponies and getting the local paper, I have stayed about the house. Lots of ironing done but very little else. Sat by the fire and read the papers, there are two local ones which both come out on a Thursday, and listened to the wind and rain lashing the windows.

I bought this orchid many years ago and it has grown so much that I have had to split it into five pieces. This year it is flowering again, must be doing something right! Nice and cheery to have something bright at this time of the year.
