Great Central Railway

I realised today that there are many fantastic blip opportunities on my doorstep & I don't need to travel miles for a good shot.

Leicester North station on The Great Central Railway is about 2 miles away from me. I knew that it was there, but in just over 14 years of living here I've never visited the station other than when I've been on a Thomas the Tank Engine day out.

Glorious sunshine made me venture out today & the first place I thought of was the station. I've experimented with HDR again & I'm really pleased with this image of "The Great Marquess"
