Trevi

Thanks to a borrowed computer I have managed to upload my pic! Spoleto broadband is not being very kind to me.
We took a drive today, just following our noses along the back roads through beautiful Umbrian countryside. It was very overcast but no matter.
Trevi is just one of many, many towns and villages perched on hills in Umbria. We had a wonder through it's maze of lanes and alleys, always having to make the next corner just to see what was there.
From Trevi we drove to Montefalco, arriving just as it started tipping down, so we spent most of the time in the St Francis museum which includes a church containing some vivid, colourful medieval frescos depicting the saint's life. Back to Spoleto, pasta and wine at home this evening!
