Autumn Robin

I went to our local RHS gardens today to enjoy the Autumn colour & as ever there was a tame robin following me all the way through the gardens - there are many tame robins there in fact!

One year, a robin had worked out how to get into the gift shop from the outside, he/she waited until someone opened the automatic door, flew in, went straight to the bird seed for sale, had a few which had spilled on the floor, would then perch on top of a shelf & sing a few notes of thanks, then wait patiently until the door automatically opened again so he/she could fly out! It was amazing to watch & the staff loved it too!
