Duck

I had more autumn colour lined up to post today, but having popped over to my nearest Lidl for provisions this afternoon near Devizes, I found another unexplored section of the Kennet and Avon just behind it. I walked east along it until I reached the Devizes Marina I'd approached from the other direction last month, and west took me to the London Road bridge where I'd snapped the kayakers I linked to in September. Along the way I came across this mallard, or rather a hybrid or "manky" mallard who must have descended from a domestic waterfowl at some point as he has rather distinctive unique markings.
A couple of rather wet autumn leaves are included for good measure.
