Unusual Animals In Wiltshire Fields #7: Alpacas

A series of unplanned events led me to find myself at Dodford Farm near Dauntsey. I had turned down a cul-de-sac while going somewhere else, to see where it went, just like in other walks of life. I was delighted to encounter this herd of alpacas in a couple of fields. There were also sheep, goats. pigs, donkeys, rare breed cattle, muscovy ducks and chickens, so I was spoiled for choice. According to the person I spoke to while asking permission to take some pictures nearly all of these, including all the alpacas, are kept as pets.

Admittedly, I have blipped alpacas in Wiltshire fields before, but these are different alpacas in a different Wiltshire field.
