A Sasanach's Skye photos

By Sasanach

A rich farewell to summer.

Today I went for a walk on my own. Naturally I took my camera with me. Well I always do. I took pictures of boats in the harbour, Ferns growing out of a wall,a few cars, and lots of trees displaying autumn colours.

In all I took 50 photographs. Now I sit here processing them in photoshop, Well they're all shot in RAW mode so they have to be processed. Then comes the problem. I need to upload just one to blipfoto. But which one should it be. The one I see as the best may not be the one you would choose and I want you to like what you see.

Well the simple answer is I just do not know. So I will share with you the one I like best and I will hope you like it too. I was talking to a friend and as we were, the sun came out and illuminated a tree behind me. He said,'Just look at that!' I turned and took in fairly fast succession about 4 images and this is the best of those.

A young Beech tree at the head of the steps leading down to the footpath we were on, so I am looking up at it with the blue sky above.

A rich farewell to summer.
