Worn

Buildings like this are all over Hong Kong - painted vibrant colours, worn from years of neglect. And I never get bored of looking at them. While the insides may often be renovated and new, the outsides generally look quite tired and rundown - so much character. While leaving a TED conference in Quarry Bay today, I glimpsed this while rushing out to head to the Bledisloe Cup. I made myself late to stop and take a few shots but it was worth it as this building and street with the mountain behind were quite a sight.
