Traffic!
Many thanks to all those who stopped by and commented on Wednesdays blip of night trails. I have to say that the macaroni cheese was just divine. Yesterday suffered a blip drought as I had to get home quickly for parents evening at Olivers School. Full marks to him for his learning achievements so far.
Anyone who has ever driven on the A3 between Portsmouth and London will notice this familiar sight. Fortunately, this will be aleviated next Spring with the opening of new tunnels under the hill. Unfortunately, this is the sight that will greet most motorists until then. Today, I had the misfortune to have to drive to Purfleet in Essex to collect a computer and data logger we had left there previously. Both directions, I was stuck at this bottleneck. Luckily I was test driving our works newest van, with only 500 miles on the clock. I did try and blip the QE2 Bridge, but that was relegated elsewhere. I'll get that on here next time I'm up there.
Back in the office by 2pm, to finish off a couple of reports. Ten minutes before work finished, I received a call and was told that I am going to the fireworks tonight. Well, it is Guy Fawkes Night!! So, on that note, I had better get into gear and make a move. Hopefully it will stay dry after all the drizzly rain we've had all day!
