No Enthusiasm here either dad!

Fireworks last night weren't a patch on Gunwharf last week, but it was Bonfire Night and it was nice to get out. Oliver didn't think so (ungratefull little **), so it was quickly back home and Oliver sharp in bed.

Today dawned better, with an excellent swimming lesson for Oliver followed by Pizza Hut for lunch. All good things came to an end when we told Oliver we needed to go shopping, but then, his mood was typical of the last week.

Whilst in Tesco, we hired a rug doctor to give our carpets a treat. By the time I had got home, I had lost any enthusiasm for outdoor blips. Pity as there's loads of fireworks on again tonight.

So, to childhood bathtime memories and HMS Matey bubble bath. One way to help calm a child down and help him on his way to bed, and a peaceful evening for me and Emma. Anyway, thats all. I seem to have rabbited on - for what has ben a dull day really. Anyway, a cup of tea is calling me now!!
