Alice been at the theatre tonight. Seems to have enjoyed it. We went to see The Kids are All Right, somehow got the time wrong, ended up in the pub and came home with Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Date night!

I think I've decided that it's good-ish, but pretty run of the mill stuff, except for the female lead, who is interesting. I tried reading the book and found it long-winded and boring (I couldn't get past page 90) but the film version has got rid of a lot of the draaaaaaaaaag.

Why oh why does a book like this become such a massive hit?
