No thank you....

I am a charitable person and donate monthly through payroll to two charities, but these people do annoy me.
We call them charity muggers.
They roam Humberstone Gate and Gallowtree Gate, approaching sorry pouncing on all and sundry trying to get you to part with your hard earned cash. They probably get paid by the number of people they `enroll`, but from what I saw, this particular lot were not having much success.
I have my own particular way of avoiding them by getting my phone out and pretending I`m making a call whilst avoiding eye contact
