Plymouth

We decided to go to Plymouth today to visit our niece for the first time since she started Uni there in September.

After the grotty weather the past few days it was a delight to be out in the sunshine. I have never been to Plymouth before. We walked around the Barbican, had fish and chips then walked up to the Hoe.

While Ben went to get the car, Fern and I took all 4 children up Smeaton's Tower - that was a challenge with Red! After such exertion we needed more sustenance so went for tea and cake in a cafe overlooking what I think is the Sound? Life really does not get much better.

I suspect we will become frequent visitors to Plymouth.
