Bracket Fungus

I back-blipped for yesterday.
A quick blip today. Took Mrs W O for a walk and found this beautiful bracket fungus. It's a polypore species but haven't had the time to ID it yet. These species drop their spores from the white sponge-like structure underneath their
more colourful top. We found a bag full of Wood Blewits which I'm about to go and fry in butter with some garlic and double cream!
