Facade, TriBeCa
TriBeCa is such a change from the meatpacking district, it's going to take some adjustment to learn what interests me. The streets and buildings are clean and well maintained, and sometimes totally empty, which gives the feeling of a movie set (which, sometimes it is).
This shot I suppose is something of an exception, and reminds me a bit of the Meatpacking District, where often the age and heavy material of a facade is used to denote exclusivity and coolness. In this case, I think it's just old ... and looks like the victim of a drive by. Hope not.
