Moray Firth

The picture was taken on Chanonry Point where bottlenose dolphins are often seen, but the tide was in and the dolphins were out. Nevertheless, the Jack Russells had a good walk and the photo opportunities were good. You can see the tail end of the Black Isle to the left and Fort George to the right. The fortification's future as a working barracks is under threat from the government's cuts.

Later in the day, I met up with mum, dad, Rory, Scott and Zoe for dinner before mum, Rory and I headed off to see the fireworks.
