Where the waxwings...weren't

I was working up the West End of town today, so nipped out to Coates Cresent to see if anth's waxwings were still about. They had evidently found this tree and stripped off half of the berries - but there was no sign of them. There was a rather noisy pneumatic drill in operation nearby so maybe they got fed up and went off to find some quieter trees.

And although I posted a link to it only the other day, I've been remembering this today.
