Bullring at night

No, not in Spain, in Birmingham.

I only work about a mile and a half away but don't go very often, I'm trying to shop less as I've got too much 'stuff'!

I love the new Bullring, the silver Selfridges building is stunning and was apparently inspired by a Paco Rabanne dress according to Wiki (although that sounds a bit dubious to me)

But what I like best is that the old St Martin's Church is still there in the middle of the modern buildings together with the statue of Nelson, seen just to the left of the church.

I had a lovely evening meeting my friend Rosie who was on her way home via Birmingham - we didn't do any shopping, just eating and chatting. No wine though, due to the need to drive home afterwards.
