Faded Anemones

Anemones will bounce back after repeatedly being frozen, but they can't take the the summery temperatures we have had in the last three days.

I've learned that my little car is beyond repair. This makes me rather sad. It was fully insured, but as it was more than twenty years old I won't get much for it. It was worth a lot more than the market value to me. It never failed a warrant of fitness test, and never had any mechanical failure. And except when I foolishly left the lights on and ran the battery flat, it always started first time, regardless of the weather. I fear it will be irreplaceable.
