Gifts

A friend brought us these walnuts the other day, picked from a tree in her father's garden. The bowl is turned wood, given to us by my brother many years ago. This morning Disdatdudda blipped a harvest image and a quote about sharing the harvest. Gardeners always seem to be such generous people and here especially we find it hard to give as much as we receive. This morning a friend gave us some onion sets he had left over.... we offered him a piece of the large pumpkin we were harvesting..... he gave us a beautiful big cauliflower from his garden. A delicious friendly exchange.
