Sunrise
Today's sunrise was more spectacular than yesterday, no low cloud obscuring the sun and so I could watch a sort of "Alpengluehen"* in the morning. The summits across the loch slowly started to glow in red on a very frosty morning. Again I had just thrown on a hoody over my pyjamas and gone to the lochside with my morning tea. What sights! Frosty leaves on the lawn, later on "steam" rising from the loch in the warm (-ish) sunlight. It was unbelievable and had it been Saturday we could have walked up Ben Lomond but it was Sunday and we had to travel back home.
What a great weekend though and lots of blips to document it.
*Term used to describe the "glowing of the alps" in the evening when the sun is setting and seems to set fire to the snowcapped alps.
