The future's bright?

Is this a joke? We travel for 5 hours along dirt tracks, through grass as high as the car, over people's fields trying to avoid their cotton plants, through red sandy dust storms in order to reach the only decent road in the south-east of the country. And what's there to greet us? A massive sign wishing us a good one from everyone's favourite mobile phone company. Neo-colonialism? Communications propaganda? Wah! (Nice yellow shell suit though!)
