Jefferson's Gardens

We visited Thomas Jefferson's abode today... it was a beautiful drive to Charlottesville and a gorgeous Fall day!

These are some of the fields where Jefferson (well, not him PERSONALLY obviously) grew beans and melon and whatever else struck his fancy.

We've now seen Monticello in the Fall and the Summer... only two more seasons to go!
