The (not so) quiet life

Get The Party Started

Seems to pretty much be Katys approach to life at the moment.Which is all well and good but being a baby she can't tell the time and doesn't seem to realise that 4.45am is not an ideal time to socialise. After half an hour of trying to ignore the increasingly cross screaming we eventually gave in and got up for the day.

Abigail used the early start as an opportunity to totally ransack her bedroom. Not a thing was left on her shelves, in her wardrobe or in her toy boxes. Having spent several hours sorting her room out not so long ago I went totally mental and stomped off to get a bin bag. Miraculously by the time I got back the room was already a good bit clearer. Time out and reasoning with children are all well and good but nothing gets results quite like losing the plot.

In the afternoon we headed round to the neighbours to watch Scotland be humilated on the rugby pitch. Fair enough they were dreadful but it gets to the stage where it's just not sporting to keep scoring tries like that. Satans minions were there and on good form as always. Abigail had clearly not learned her lesson from earlier and the four bigger ones spent a happy half hour trashing Gregors room. They got a similar reaction over there and had to spend the next half hour restoring order. It got to the stage where them assaulting each other was starting to hamper the enjoyment of X Factor and wine so we called it a night and headed home.
