Cavendish House

I've had to go into work on both my days off this week, so I took the opportunity of sneaking out early today to squeeze in a daylight blip.

This is another of the hidden gems of Leicester that I didn't even know existed until today. I find it hard to believe you can live in a place for 14 years & not really know it at all.

I went to Abbey Park expecting to find a late afternoon Autumnal blip, an instead I found the ruins of Cavendish House that was built in the 17th Century.
